In a striking display of faith and public witness, organizers of the 41st All-Ireland Rosary Rally have launched a nationwide billboard campaign across Ireland. The initiative aims to draw thousands of pilgrims to Knock Shrine on Saturday, June 6, 2026, for a powerful day of prayer and renewal.

Building on the success of last year’s event, which attracted over 10,000 participants in person — with thousands more joining online — this year’s rally continues its mission of invoking Our Lady’s intercession for peace in the world, a renewal of the Catholic faith in Ireland, and the spiritual well-being of the Irish people.

A Visible Call to Prayer

More than 50 billboards have been placed in strategic locations throughout the country for two weeks in May. These eye-catching advertisements invite passersby to join the rally and rediscover the power of the Rosary. Fr. Marius O’Reilly, a member of the organizing committee, explained the outreach’s purpose:

“We are hoping to catch the attention of people who are searching, those perhaps seeking some certainty and truth in their lives. There are people who may just need some form of intercession to bring them back to their faith, or indeed introduce them to it for the first time. We are particularly hoping to attract a younger audience; many young people are looking for something more than what they see on a phone screen.”

The campaign highlights the deep-rooted Irish devotion to the Rosary, a tradition that has sustained the faithful through generations of hardship.

International Speakers and a Message of Peace

This year’s rally features an impressive international lineup of speakers, bringing global perspectives on faith, conversion, and the power of prayer:

  • Fr. Chris Alar, MIC — From the National Shrine of the Divine Mercy in the USA, a well-known broadcaster and author.
  • Nikki Kingsley — Sharing her remarkable conversion journey from Islam to Catholicism.
  • Bishop Oliver Doeme — From Nigeria, whose promotion of the Rosary is credited with protecting his diocese from Boko Haram.
  • Sr. Ângela de Fátima Coelho — Vice Postulator for the Cause of the Fatima Seers (Portugal).
  • Additional participation from Archbishop Eamon Martin and Bishop Donal McKeown, who will reconsecrate Ireland to Jesus through the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

The event draws inspiration from the legacy of Fr. Patrick Peyton, the famous “Rosary Priest” from County Mayo, who famously declared, “A world at prayer is a world at peace.” https://www.midwestradio.ie

Organizers have arranged over 50 buses from across Ireland to make the journey to Knock accessible. The rally promises a deeply spiritual day centered on the Rosary as a source of strength, unity, and hope in troubled times.

Everyone is warmly invited — whether long-time devotees or those newly drawn to the faith. For more details, the full programme, and travel information, visit the official site: allirelandrosaryrally.com.
